Development of online wedding planning tool
Moposa is an SaaS startup providing wedding planning platform that helps couples across Ireland and the UK to organise their big day. Partnering with venues, a range of tools are available within the application such as guestlists, budget, lookbooks and wedding website. As the sole in-house designer, I was responsible for developing many of the visual aspects of Moposa and the overall brand, such as the UI, illustrations, email templates and social media assets.
Dashboard featuring latest activities and reminders (left) and guest area (right)
A personalised dashboard displays an overview of budget, to-do list and guest information. The Guests area features various categorisation options and a designated area for storing guest details. This section also enables users to create venue seating plans, record food preferences for the meal and keep track of gifts received.
Users can "snip" ideas and store inspiration in The Look area
The Look is an area where users store their inspiration and "snip" ideas from other users of the application. The "snip" card design of this section was established based on user testing and feedback and went through multiple iterations.
Illustration style for cross-platform use
I created a suite of illustrations to be utilised across all online and offline communications.
A change from the typical floral, decorative wedding illustrative styles
A geometric, modern approach was taken - differentiating the brand from the competition and signifying Moposa's "techy" status.
Animation to introduce Moposa to potential customers and vendors
The landing page of Moposa features a short explanatory animation introducing the service to customers. I worked with the fantastic motion designer and animator Tautas Jazbutis to create the video, providing him with storyboards, a script and creative direction.
